How do I confirm My Registration?
- As soon as you click the SUBMIT button to register in Batchmates, a mail is sent to the Email-Id by which you have registered.
- Open the mail you received from Batchmates in your registered mail a/c.
- Click on the URL provided in the email to confirm your email or copy paste the confirmation key in the space provided which comes immediately after registration.
- If you went out from the site without confirming your email ID, the next time you login to Batchmates.com you will be asked to confirm your email id. Put in the confirmation key received via email in the page that comes after login and click on “Contact Your Batchmates”.
Why do I need to confirm my Email id?
This email id is your login ID for Batchmates and all notifications will be delivered to this mail id. So, this needs to be a valid and working mail ID.
What are the features I can access by becoming a confirmed member?
When you are a confirmed member you can access the following features in Batchmates
- Create your friends’ network.
- Read mails from your buddies and send mails to them.
- Invite friends and win prizes.
- View Event Calendars.
- Read Bulletin Board posts.
- Register in all schools/colleges and workplaces.
What’s a Confirmation Key and why do I need one?
- When you register for the first time in Batchmates.com or thereafter under a different email id- a confirmation key mailer goes out to you (at the registered email id) to validate the email address.
- It is imperative that you click on the URL mentioned in the mailer so that your email is validated and so is your membership which would allow you to start using the host of features.
- Non-compliance to this mailer might find you losing out on some features of the site.
What should I do if I’ve misplaced or have
not received my confirmation key?
To retrieve your Confirmation Key:
- Login using your Email id/Unique id & Password.
- Click on "Click here to receive Confirmation Key" link.
- A confirmation key will be mailed to your registered email id.
